Design Brief
Veritas is a new magazine about life and life-style in general. It is a heavily editorial magazine with articles ranging from health to travelling the world, including philantropy, financials, sports, social and political issues, as well as fashion and arts. The magazine will explore all these issues in a global context.

Rationale
When approaching this design challenge, I decided to take a more minimal and modern design. I used a lot of white space and tried to make it as easy to read as possible as this is a very text-heavy magazine.
When choosing type pairings, I wanted to make sure that the choses embodied the clean and simple feel. I ended up choosing Sofia Pro for heading styles and Utopia for body copy. I found that a sans serif and serif complimented each other nicely and was exactly what I was hoping to achieve with this design.
